Personal Background

Peter Gorbutt has been a Top Producing Real Estate agent since 2001 and the recipient of Multi-Million Dollar awards presented by the Westchester County Board of Realtors. Westchester Magazine also named Peter as a Five Star Real Estate Professional for 3 years in a row. Peter is a longtime resident of Westchester County having lived in White Plains, Hartsdale, Scarsdale and Tarrytown. Prior to entering real estate, Peter worked as a fashion buyer and retail merchandise executive for several major fashion houses, Ralph Lauren, Nine West, Joan & David and Kenneth Cole. In 2008 Peter opened Gorbutt Realty Group, a boutique real estate company with 16 agents based in White Plains, New York. Peter and his managing partner Carlos Gomez sold the business in 2011. Peter has been very active in several charities. His focus has been on community events, animal rescue and art related charities. He served on the Board of Directors of several charities including the White Plains Outdoor Arts Festival and works weekly with The Humane Society of New Rochelle doing animal adoption counseling and placement.
