Peter Gorbutt and Carlos Gomez did an extraordinary job as the brokers for my parents’ estate in the sale of their apartment at the Ritz Carlton in White Plains. They set the gold standard for professionalism as brokers. They were unstintingly courteous, detail oriented, enthusiastic, and communicative, and they made the sale of what looked to be a tough market – there was a glut of apartments on the market for this condo – proceed smoothly and surprisingly quickly.
I attribute their success in part to their appreciation of the particular apartments virtues, which in no small part was its beautiful decorating. Whereas the other brokers I interviewed treated the apartment as just another apartment in the line. Peter & Carlos not only zeroed in on its individual beauty, but also were able to impart this to potential buyers. Once a contract was signed, they continued to extend themselves to us in ways that went above the call of duty, overseeing such things of packing when we were unable to be present.

They managed to sell our apartment for a great price in a reasonable time when there were 28 apartments in the same building complex on the market, some of them for over a year. Peter is the best! First and foremost, he helped me find the perfect apartment (co-op) for me, in a great area, at a great price, and I could not be happier with my property. I have been there for over 2.5 years. Being a first-time home buyer, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Peter has been in the business for years, so he was with me every step of the way. To say Peter is an outstanding agent is a vast understatement. My partner and I worked with him to sell our downtown White Plains co-op and buy our new home in Port Chester. From start to finish, Peter helped us manage our expectations for selling in a down and saturated co-op market, and for buying in a buyer's turned seller's market - and all with a wicked sense of humor! Recently bought a condo in White Plains, NY. Carlos Gomez was not only an excellent broker to work with, but went well beyond what would be expected to make sure that I was comfortable with my decision. But Peter's knowledge of the area, process and his network helped make both the sale and purchase go as well as it possibly could have, given some odd circumstances and a poor market. He's smart, proactive, gives sound advice and is honest. He genuinely looked out for us. And he's quite hilarious! These are qualities that are difficult to find in my opinion.
